WBI is looking to identify an Office Manager to support day to day operations and events of our 2nd Street location in Dayton, OH. The office manager is often the first impression for new visitors and requires a professional, outgoing and vibrant attitude.


The Office Manager will:
Support day-to-day operations of the WBI 2nd Street Center. Manages and organizes office operations including administrative functions. Arranges, facilitates, and coordinates activities and events. Leads the execution of the events from concept to clean up. Assess events to ensure guest satisfaction and proposes improvements or new programs to stimulate business, collaboration and/or increased efficiency of the operations that support the strategy of the Center. Serves at the initial point of contact for people entering the building and should be prepared to give impromptu tours and information. Manages the facilities calendar of events and communicates accordingly to ensure appropriate promotion and information is available to attendees.

The successful candidate should have the following skills, education and experience:

  • Associate degree in a technical field, business, or communications desired.

  • 5 years’ experience developing and administrating events.

  • Air Force or Department of Defense experience a plus.

  • Microsoft Office, expert level

  • Event planning and survey software, intermediate level

  • Experience managing facility operations is desired.

  • IT Technical Support experience a plus.

  • Inventory Control experience a plus.

  • Experience with working with Executive Level individuals a plus.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong leadership, administrative and organizational skills.

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.

  • Must be willing to work before or after standard business hours, on an event-by-event basis.
